AquaMarine® 3D has been tested and independently audited to International (ISO) Standards and found to comply with the requirements for low flame spread of a bulkhead wall and ceiling lining as specified by the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea 1972 (SOLAS) as well as the requirements of IMO Resolution A.653(16) on improved Fire Test Procedures for surface flammability as amended by MSC 61 (67).
AquaMarine® 3D is suited for salty and humid conditions. It will not rot, is hydrolysis resistant, unaffected by salt water and most chemicals, does not shed fibres and will not delaminate.
AquaMarine® 3D is non toxic, will not contribute to metal corrosion, does not decay or sustain mould or vermin, nor absorb odours.
Supply:
AquaMarine® 3D is available in easy to cut and fabricate sheets:
AquaMarine® 3D
ECB Certified Acoustical Material
Flexible Acoustic Insulation for Marine Applications, suitable for irregular surfaces.
European Certification Bureau (ECB) Certificate of Compliance with the relevant Essential Requirements of Annexe 1-a regarding the design and construction of ECB craft directive 94/25/EC as amended by 2003/44/EC.
AquaMarine® flexible laminates were specifically engineered to absorb and control noise in main and auxiliary engine enclosures and to line partition walls and bulkheads.
AquaMarine® 3D has a unique material construction which results in high sound absorption, high resilience and high fire-resistant capability.
AquaMarine® is a laminate of flexible aluminium foil, low frequency membrane absorber, a flexible noise barrier between two layers of three-dimensional, vertically aligned, thermally bonded polyester sound-absorption vibration decoupler.
The often combined phenomena of vibrations, sound transmissions & sound reverberation, encountered with most noise problems are effectively treated with AquaMarine® 3D.
This economic material effectively reduces sound radiation & sound transmission in the critical frequency region of rigid panels (eg: steel, aluminium & fibreglass panels)
